What goes in
Nothing is made for us. Everything is made for the day it was made, and then rescued before that day ends.
01
Baked, cooked or picked this morning. Surplus is not leftovers - it is the same food, later in the day.
02
Every kitchen is within a few streets of someone collecting from it. Nothing travels to reach anyone.
03
Chosen by the people who made it, at the moment they know what is left. A decision, not an algorithm.
How it reaches anyone
01
A kitchen counts what is left and lists it. They know before anyone else, so they list before anyone else.
02
It is boxed as it would be for any customer. Nothing is repackaged to look like something it is not.
03
A customer reserves and pays in the app, and the collection window opens. One code, one counter, no queue.
04
They collect before you close. The food is eaten, the kitchen is paid, and nothing goes into the bin.
It is the same bread. It is just eight in the evening.
We stopped throwing away a tray a night.
Half the people who collect had never been in.
Applying takes a few minutes and costs nothing. A person reviews it, usually within two working days.
